Abstract :
Auction is the sale of goods open to the public with written and/or oral price offers that are increasing or decreasing to reach the highest price, which is preceded by an Auction Announcement. Auctions are closely related to credit activities carried out by banks. The implementation of bank lending is usually associated with the object of mortgage collateral. Credit run by banks does not always go well, bad credit is a common phenomenon in the banking world. The formulation of the problem is: 1) How is the implementation of the auction of mortgage rights at PT Bank Nagari Main Branch? 2) What are the factors that cause bad credit? 3) How is the legal protection for the winner of the auction at PT Bank Nagari Main Branch. This type of research is juridical sociological. Data sources use primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are obtained through interviews and document studies. The data analysis technique is qualitative analysis. The results of the research are: 1) Implementation of auctions on mortgages at PT Bank Nagari Main Branch through cooperation with KPKNL. 2) Factors causing bad credit are external and internal factors. 3) Legal protection for the auction winner is the full responsibility of PT Bank Nagari Main Branch after the auction object is sold.
