Abstract :
The development of the current era has a very large influence on the use of information and electronic technology, one of which is in the field of trade, many people carry out online buying and selling activities or usually referred to as E-commerce which uses goods delivery services which delivery services use courier workers who Responsible for delivering goods directly to consumers. Formulation of the problem (1) What is the form of legal protection by shipping service companies against couriers in canceling goods by consumers using the Cash On Delivery (COD) payment system? (2) What is the form of dispute resolution that occurs between the consumer and the courier of the expedition service? The type of research used is sociological juridical, the data source used is primary data, data obtained directly from the first legal source related to the issues to be discussed and researched and secondary data, data sourced from books, as a complement to primary data , data collection techniques using interviews and document studies, analyzed qualitatively. (1) find out the form of legal protection in the form of soup by forwarding service companies against couriers in canceling goods by consumers using the Cash On Delivery (COD) payment system. (2) find out the form of mediation dispute resolution that occurs between consumers and courier services.
