Propolis is a resin that is collected by honey bees from various plant sap, which is then
mixed with bee saliva to protect the hive from various kinds of disturbance. one of the

Trigona sp bee honey. The physicochemical characteristicsUHOof propolis vary
depending on the environment.in which propolis is taken. The purpose of this study
was to determine the physicochemical characteristics of a mixture of a mixture of PEG
400, water and olive propolis from Trigona sp. Origin of South Konawe Regency. The
uho
physicochemical characteristics carried out were organoleptic testing, viscosity testing
using Ostwald viscometer, measurement of ash content, moisture content and wax content
by gravimetric method. Testing the pH of acidity, and analysis of the chemical
compounds making up propolis with Gaschromatography-mass spectrometry
.
(GCMS). Organoleptic tests performed include color, aroma, taste and shape, the results obtained in propolis extract are brownish orange, distinctive aroma, bitter taste and thick form. The viscosity measurement results obtained were 97.88 cp. The results of the measurement of water levels obtained in propolis extract were 22.01%, the results of the ash content of 0.105%, the results of the 0% wax content. The
results of testing the acidity (pH) is 6.15, and the results of the analysis of the compounds that make up propolis with GCMS on propolis extract are compounds Isopropyl Carbitol, 2-(2-Vinyloxyethoxy)Ethanol, 3-0-Methyl-D-fructosa, Ethanol, 2-[2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethoxy].
