PENERAPAN ANALISIS BIVARIATE CORRELATION DAN METODE LEAST SQUARE UNTUK PREDIKSI PENJUALAN BAHAN BANGUNAN (STUDI KASUS: TOKO MITRA JAYA BANGUNAN)
Mini Thesis, Faculty of Engineering, 2019
Mitra Jaya Bangunan stores is a shop engaged in the sale of building materials and building equipment. Mitra Jaya Bangunan stores requires a system to produce prediction information on sales of things. To make it easier to predict the sale of things a research is made to build an application that can predict the sale of things by applying the Bivariate Correlation analysis and the Least Square . Bivariate Correlation is an analysis used to determine the effect of a product (product 1 = variable Y) on another product (product 2 = variable X) in the number of sales known through the correlation equation (r). While Least Square is a forecasting method used to see trends from time series data that are known through the Least Square equation.
The results showed that from the correlation analysis tested it turned out that for 1 year data, Bosowa's cement product sales were strongly influenced by tonasa cement because it had the highest correlation value of 0,7724 which resulted in sales predictions of 557,224 for January 2019. For 2-year product data Bosowa cement sales are strongly influenced by ordinary zinc 10 OB because it has the highest correlation value of 0.5526 which results in sales predictions of 556,588 for January 2019.
