ABSTRACT AN ANALYSIS OF EDUCATIONAL VALUE INFREEDOM WRITERS BY RICHARD LAGRAVENESE EKI NAYANTIA1D2 14 145 This researchwasaccomplished to find out the Educational Values whichwereconsisted inFreedom Writersmovie and provide detail information about theeducational value of the movie. The problem of this study was what are theeducational value inFreedom Writers movie.Theobjectiveof the study was todescribeand analyze the educational values in the “Freedom Writers” movie.Thescope of this study was focused on analyzing the educational value inFreedomWritersmovie. The data sources was collected from the script of the movie. Theresearcher used the qualitative analysis as her research design. The researchercollected the data by doing some underlining of the script which was related toeducational value and then making a classification of data.This study also useddescriptive analysis in analyzing the educational value to report clear information.The result confirmed that there were four value of being and five value of givingnamelyhonesty, bravery, peace, confidence, loyalty, respect, love, and affection,kind and friendly and fair which had been found by the researcher. It wasrecommended to the next researcher who want to conduct same research to findout more value which might be the weaknesses of this research.
