Sitti Helvina ( A1D2 13 101). An Analysis of Teacher Difficulties in Preparing and Developing Lesson Plan.
This study aims to investigate the teacher’s difficulties in preparing and developing the English lesson plan based on the KTSP in senior high school. This type of research includes qualitative research which takes the subject of English Language Teachers in SMAN 1 Kusambi consisting of three classes and three teachers. The data was collected by interviewing English teachers. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of collection and analysis carried out by using an inductive logical thinking method, interpreting a problem that originated from the teacher's perception, and connecting with one another to obtain a systematic description of the problem. The results showed that the English teachers at SMAN 1 Kusambi were inseparable from difficulties in preparing and developing lesson plan for English subjects based on the KTSP. The difficulties in preparing lesson plan such as: the available of time, identifying condition and character of the learner, the availability of facilities or learning media, determining the learning strategy and selecting the teaching material while in developing lesson plan the teacher difficulties namely formulating the correct objective and indicator, allocating of time, composing the procedures and instrument of process assessment, maximizing the learning activity, selecting the teaching method and resources.
