Abstract :
Based on the result of analysis, the researcher concluded that the implementation of Reading Aloud affected the students’ vocabulary of the second year students of SMPN 3 Parangloe in academic year 2016/2017. This technique makes the students directly involve in classroom activity, by reading and pronounce the text, it makes the students focus on the content of the text because the words pronounced loudly, and establish active movement, set sounds, thought, and feeling in motion. Therefore, the researcher suggested to the teachers to apply Reading Aloud in teaching vocabulary, as one technique that can be used in teaching process.
