Abstract :
This research was a descriptive statistic (frequency, mean score, and standard
deviation) and inferential statistic (independent sample t-test). The research showed
that seventh grade students’ of SMPN 18 Makassar vocabulary mastery improve by
using E-Mind Map Application by the increase of mean score of experimental class
that is 42.7 classified as poor, in the pre-test and 80.7 classified as very good in the
post test. The result of the t-test also showed that E-Mind Map Application was
effective for the students’ vocabulary improvement because the t-test value was
4.115 higher than t-table value was 2.000 (4.115>>>> > 2.000).
Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that E-Mind Map
Application is effective for the students’ vocabulary at VII grade students of SMPN
18 Makassar and there is significant difference between the students’ vocabulary
mastery before and after using E-Mind Map Application.
