Abstract :
As a result of the research, the writer found that score of students' English proficiency was fairly good, and factors influence individual differences in learning English were classified as good. And individual differences occurs at socialinguistic aspects, such as: language aptitude, motivation, attitude, personality, cognitive style, and the most dominant factor was cognitive style that influenced students in learning English, then the correlation between English profeciency and individual differences showed there was a correlation, and the result of Chi-Squere, it indicated that there was influence between English profeciency and individual differences in learning English. Based on the result, the researcher concluded that there was correlation and influenced between English profeciency and factors in influence individual in learning English although this correlation was classified as low.
