Abstract :
The result showed that there some difficulties that the teachers faced in teaching listening comprehension were these, teaching in a large class, the students’ ability to catch the teaching listening comprehension, the lack of the students’ interest to learn English specially listening comprehension, the lack of the tool to teach listening comprehension in the school, dividing the students into group. The factors caused the difficulties were the language laboratory was not used well, the lack of the students’ vocabulary caused the students do not comprehend what the native speaker or the teachers said, the lack of the learning media made the students are not interest to learn English specifically listening comprehension, and about the lack of the tool in teaching listening comprehension was caused by the language laboratory was not used well as its function, and the students had a different character so the teachers got difficult in dividing the students into group. Knowing teachers’ difficulties in teaching listening comprehension can bring some solutions to overcome the difficulties. It helps the teachers to achieve learning objective. Then, listening comprehension is taught easily.
