Abstract :
The finding indicated that there was a significant difference betweenstudents’ pre-test and post-tes in experimental class and controlled class. Themean scoreof pre-test in experimental classwas(48.96)which was slassified aspoorbut the mean score of post-test was (77.76) which was classified as good.The mean score of pre-test in controlled class was (39.04) which was classified asvery poor but the mean score of post-test was (56.32) which was classified as fair.Moreover, the result of the t-test also shown that there was significant from thestudents, the t-test (6.617) was higher than t-table (2.021) at the level ofsignificance 0.05with degree of freedom (df) =48.Theresult of the research, theresearcher concluded that H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. It means thatusingSpelling Bee Gamewas effective to improve the students vocabularyat thesecond YearStudentsofSMPN 3 Sungguminasa Gowa.
