Abstract :
The finding showed that there were two types of idioms; pure and semi-idioms. The researcher also reveled the Baker's five strategies that applied on the novel, they were translating an idiom with similar meaning but dissimilar form, translating an idiom by paraphrasing, translating an idiomby omission the play of angd idiom, and transliting ah idiom by omission the entire idiom
