Abstract :
The finding showed that there were71 errors in students' writing, they were: 23 errors in omission of noun inflection, 14 errors in omission of verb inflection, 2 errors in omission of adjective inflection, 6 errors in addition of noun inflection, 18 errors in addition of verb inflection and 8 errors in misformation. Meanwhile, the researcher found two causes, those were: careless and first language interference. The researcher concluded that. the sixth semester students still made some errors on their essays especially about error of omission and the most causes of errors was careless.
