Abstract :
In the current pandemic, reading skills in English are not easy to master as everything requires a strategy. Especially on reading skills with comprehension. The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's strategy in utilizing technology in teaching reading comprehension using the Google Form application on 7th grade SMP Negeri 1 Bintan. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method in which the researcher describes the results of the data that has been obtained by arranging words so that it becomes a clear explanation. Researchers used questionnaires and interviews. Researcher used structured interviews and questionnaire that had been prepared in advance. The data obtained is processed with the help of the theory that has been described. The researcher got data at SMP Negeri 1 Bintan from the English teacher. The result of this study is that the English teacher of SMP Negeri 1 Bintan uses the SQ3R strategy.
