Abstract :
The objective of the research was to find out what students? perception towards the use of online learning platform at eleventh grade students of SMAN 2 Tanjungpinang was. The researcher used qualitative design with descriptive qualitative approach because the result of this research in the form of sentences. The subject of this research was 32 students. The data was collected by interview. The results showed that students' perception when using online learning platforms were less than optimal. There were some obstacles, i.e is an unstable network and the limited tools (smartphone and computer) so that students do not understand what is explained by the teacher. However, in using the online platform, students can know well how to use it and make it easier for students to repeat the lesson because the material provided by the teacher can be stored neatly. Some students said online learning is more practical in terms of time. Then, with online learning platform, they get to know current technology and make this a new experience for them.
