Abstract :
This research was conducted from January to May 2017 at the turtle breeding site on Pulau Wie (Tambelan). The percentage of eggs hatched in treatment A (treatment of egg removal for 1 day) reached 98%. While treatment B (treatment of egg removal for 3 days) the total percentage of turtle eggs hatched by 90% and in treatment C (treatment of egg removal for 5 days) the hatching rate of eggs reached 82%. Based on the real difference test, the length of time of egg removal in 3 treatments, did not differ significantly to the success rate of hatching of Green turtle eggs (Chelonia mydas) on Wie Island, Tambelan. The highest (best) hatching of turtle eggs occurred in treatment A (treatment of egg removal for 1 day).
