Abstract :
SUMMARY RIKI GUNAWAN Effect of Honey Administration on Feed against Growth and Feed Conversion Ratio of Pomfret Star Trachinotus blochii MUZAHAR and SHAVIKA MIRANTI. This study aims to determine the effect of feeding honey to accelerate the growth of silver pompano. The research was carried out in October 2021 ? December 2021 in a floating net cage (KJA) owned by the Pengujan Fish Seed Center (BBI) ? Bintan Regency. The research design used a completely randomized design method (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A (without giving honey to the feed), treatment B (giving honey at a dose of 1%/kg feed), treatment C (giving honey at a dose of 2%/kg feed), treatment D (giving honey at a dose of 4%/kg feed). The results showed that there was no effect of giving honey on the growth of star pomfret, but treatment D (giving honey 4%/kg of feed) gived growth performance higher than anothers treatments namely absolute weight growth of 9.39±1.74 g, absolute length growth of 2.08±0.20 cm, daily growth rate of 0.31±0.06 g, feed efficiency of 25.23±2.62%, feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 2,73±0,12. Tthe survival rate in all treatments (A, B, C, and D) obtained identical results namely 100.00±0.00%. Keywords: Feed, Honey, Trachinotus blochii.
