Abstract :
This research was conducted to determine the application of Just In Time to the management or management of fish raw material inventory of a product. This analysis finds out the difference between conventional systems and those using the Just In Time system. This research was conducted on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of Mamah Ezy Fish Crackers whose business owner is Mrs. Soim Riyatun located in Sei Lekop Village, East Bintan District, Bintan Regency. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sample technique using all members of the population. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method that systematically explains the final result using numbers or numerics. The data used in this study is production costs, especially the cost of fish raw materials in December 2021. The results of this study showed that there was a difference in production costs before and after the implementation of Just In Time (JIT) of Rp.93,613 in December. This is because there are optimal ordering costs and raw material ordering cycles calculated in the Just In Time system. The conclusion of this study is that using the Just In Time system is more optimal in raw material management and the cycle has a positive impact on production cost efficiency.
