Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of fishing gear, labor, and fuel costs on the income of fishermen in Gelugur Village, Moro District, Karimun Regency. The population of this study were all fishermen in Gelugur Village. The sampling method of this research is purposive sampling and obtained 35 samples that meet the criteria used in this study, this study uses SPSS 25. The research period is in June and November 2021. The analysis technique used in this study uses the classical assumption test, namely the normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that fishing gear affects fishermen's income, labor affects fishermen's income, fuel costs affect fishermen's income, and fishing gear, labor, and fuel costs simultaneously affect fishermen's income. The independent variables (fishing gear, labor and fuel costs) in this study were able to explain 52.3% of the dependent variable, namely fishermen's income. While the remaining 47.7% is explained by other variables that are not explained in this study.
