Abstract :
This study aims to analyze the feasibility of a business by using the calculation method of Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, and Payback Period in a business in Tanjungpinang city. The business is called the Boga Rasa Fish Cracker Business which processes raw crackers into ready-to-eat crackers and markets them to stalls around Tanjungpinang City. The results of this study indicate that the Net Present Value is greater than zero (0) or has a positive value of Rp. 169. 290.146 with the discount rate used is 6% in accordance with the people's business credit interest rate applicable as of January 2020. The method of calculating the Internal Rate of Return shows 49% where this figure is greater than 6% which is the expected rate of return. This means that the return on the Catering Fish Cracker Business is faster than expected. As for the calculation using the Payback Period method, the result is 0.17 where the rate of return is less than 3 years, namely 2 months 2 days. So the calculation illustrates that the rate of return is relatively fast. Thus, based on the results of calculations with the three methods, it can be concluded that the Catering Fish Cracker Business is feasible to continue and run.
