Abstract :
This study aimed to develop podcasts as listening material for tenth grades at MAN Tanjungpinang. The subjects in this study were students of class X Bahasa, which consisted of 22 students. This type of research was research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model from (Sugiyono, 2013). Researchers focus on developing podcast for listening materials according to student needs. There were 5 steps in this research: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data was obtained from the student needs questionnaire, validation questionnaire sheet, and small group try out questionnaire. The results showed that the podcast validation results for students' listening material for class X were valid and did not need revisions. Podcasts were directly implemented to students. Based on the results of student implementation of the practicality test sheet, it was found that podcasts for listening material for grade 10 were very appropriate and practical.
