Abstract :
This study aimed to develop a blog for teaching writing skill at grade ninth in SMPN 10 Tanjungpinang.The research design of this study was Research and Development, as (Borg & Gall, 2003). This research and development based on the ADDIE design model. ADDIE was acronym for Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. As a result, use ADDIE as a way to organize the common procedures associated with instructional design. In this study, the researcher used qualitative data analysis. The data was obtained from the interview the english teacher, validation sheet, and quationnaire for students perception toward the product. The findings of this study, grade ninth students need learning media to make students interested in the learning process. The researcher develop a blog and got good response from material expert and media expert. The result from validation sheet the blog were valid and did not revisions. The blog has been implemented for students were very interested in carrying out the learning process using blog because it was very easy to access.
