Abstract :
The objective of this study was to analyze students? writing skill of procedure text. This research design was descriptive qualitative. The population of this research was the ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang in the academic year 2022/2023. The research subject was the 9.6 grade students, consisting 36 students. Researcher used assessments of students? writing skill of procedure text categorized by Jihad and Harris. The result of this study shows the students? writing skill of procedure text were in good level category. It can be seen from the mean score of the students which is 81.11.
