DESIGNING GOOGLE-SITES MEDIA FOR TEACHING WRITING SKILL OF EXPOSITION TEXTS AT GRADE ELEVEN

Abstract :
Google Sites is a media for creating websites that can be used as an interesting learning medium. Website-based learning media using Google Sites is predicted to be able to overcome the problem of learning English with Analytical Exposition text material at SMAN 4 Tanjungpinang which is still textual. This type of research is development research (Research & Development) using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The subjects of this study were students of class XI at SMAN 4 Tanjungpinang and two validators consisting of a media validator, one lecturer and one English teacher at SMAN 4 Tanjungpinang. The learning media used is Google Sites for English lessons on Analytical Exposition Text material at SMAN 4 Tanjungpinang. Based on the data and results of the research, the percentage of the results of the assessment by media experts on each statement item on Website-based learning media was 93.84615385%, where the validation result value of 90.00% -100% was stated to be very valid, based on the criteria level of validity. This shows that in terms of the media, the developed Website-based learning media was included in the "Very Valid/VeryGood"category.
