Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of occupational safety and health and safety and health programs in achieving employee work productivity. This study uses the theory of occupational safety and health (K3). In this study using a qualitative descriptive research method, the type of data collection was carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation with 10 informants. The results of the study show that regarding the implementation of K3 it is still not well realized or not fully in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for occupational safety and health related to employee work productivity where if employee health is poor it will result in a tendency for high absentee levels and decreased performance so that resulting in low productivity, with the finding that there is still a lack of education or counseling about K3, causing a lack of understanding of employees regarding the importance of using PPE while working, the use of personal protective equipment is still relatively low, this is due to incomplete employees using PPE at work and a lack of supervisory supervision of employees in using PPE, as well as regarding K3 in the company has not been implemented properly due to incomplete PPE and damage to PPE. The researcher's suggestion in this study is that the company can be expected to pay more attention to employees so that better OSH is created in the company, because good OSH in the company will ensure smooth operations and production for the company. Education and counseling must be carried out continuously regarding the importance of using PPE in order to minimize work accidents, and the company must supervise and check PPE so that PPE is not found that is not available or damaged.
