Abstract :
The purposes of this research were to analysis their procedure text, to find out whether the students have ability to write a good text procedure in organization aspect or not by the students. Procedure text is a text that is designed to discrabe how something is achieved through a sequence of action or steps. The research used descriptive quantitative method. The sample of this research was IX.1, IX.2, IX.3 and IX.4 student of major science at 9 th of SMP 4 Negri Tanjungpinang. The researcher used test as the instrument. The researcher used Brown?s writing rubric from procedure text in organization aspect to analyse the students? writing ability in the procedure text in organization aspect, and used formula to calculate the result. In conclusions in this research is (18 of 32 students) at 9 th SMP 4 Negri Tanjungpinang had excellent to good writing ability in the procedure text in terms of organization aspect.
