Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to explore the influence of using magic card media in teaching descriptive writing among tenth-grade students at SMA N 2 Bunguran Timur. This research aimed to determine whether or not there is a significant effect of using magical card media on the ability to write descriptive text in class 10 students. The paired sample t-Test was used in this research to compare two related sample groups, namely before and after the application of magic cards as a learning tool. The results obtained from the pre-test and post-test assessments showed a statistically significant increase in the writing ability of students who were taught using magic cards. The significant improvements seen in students' writing skills after exposure to this innovative approach underscored its effectiveness in stimulating creative and descriptive writing proficiency. These findings paved the way for further exploration and implementation of innovative pedagogical approaches aimed at enriching educational experiences and cultivating well-rounded professional writers among students.
