Abstract :
This research aimed to develop learning media for teaching reading comprehension to grade 8 students at SMPN 2 Senayang. In the design of Test Me learning media, it was expected that students would be motivated in learning reading comprehension, and the learning process would become more interesting, leading to active student participation. The researcher focused on the material of asking and giving attention, checking for understanding, showing appreciation, and asking and giving opinions in grade 8. The method used in this research was research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model by Dick & Carry. In this model, three stages were carried out, namely analyzing, designing, and developing. The data collected came from interviews and validation sheets. Test Me teaching materials met the valid criteria, with the results of material validation obtaining a percentage of 85.7%, and the results of media validation obtaining a percentage of 80%. As a result, teaching materials using Test Me were found to be suitable for implementation with students
