Abstract :
This research aims to develop English learning media in the form of posters on product label material in class IX junior high schools and determine the suitability of poster media as a learning resource developed in terms of material, appearance and operation based on expert assessment. The subject of this research was aimed at grade 9 students at SMPN 10 Tanjungpinang. This research uses research and development methods. The development model in this research uses the 4D model learning media development method. However, in this development the researcher only used 3D or this development reached the design stage and the research instruments used were material expert validation and media expert validation. The feasibility obtained from the validation of material experts and media experts is a practical category for use with a material assessment percentage of 94.1% and a media assessment of 86% with very good criteria. So it can be concluded that the poster media on SMP IX product label material is suitable for use as a learning process.
