Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of the dictogloss learning technique on students' listening skills. This study shows whether the level of listening skills of students before being taught with techniques using dictogloss learning techniques is better than the level of listening skills of students after using dictogloss learning techniques. This study Involved 24 students at SMP Negeri 01 Lingga located in Lingga district. This research used quanti pre-experimental method with on group pre-test and post-test desaign. One class was used in this study which was class 9-2, which had 26 students. This study used a listening test to collect data. The researcher analyzed the data by using T-test paired independent samples with SPSS version 26. The results of the study were significance 0.000 < 0.05 and T-test value 11.023 > 2.064, which indicates that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that the level of students' listening skills is better after using the dictogloss learning technique for class 9-2 at SMP Negeri 01 Lingga.
