Abstract :
Has conducted research determination Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) gasoline 88 at PT Pertamina Dumai RU II using ASTM method D-323. The results of the determination of Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) obtained from 4 tank is 68 kPa, 61 kPa, 64 kPa, 65 kPa. The maximum limit of the reid vapor pressure (RVP) as determined by Dir.Gen.Migas is 69 kPa, so if the Reid Vapor Pressure in excess of the maximum limit then it will cause problems on the machine.
