Abstract :
High-rise office buildings are defined as buildings that have a higher building height than the maximum range of fire fighting equipment available. The selection of objects in this study is an office building located in the South of Jakarta, namely: X Tower, Y Tower, and Z Tower. This research was conducted to evaluate fire safety systems in accordance with PERMEN-PU No. 26 / PRT / M / 2008 and to provide recommendations and suggestions to help improve the conditions of fire safety protection systems in buildings. Observations carried out on high-rise office buildings include site completeness components, rescue facility, active protection and passive protection. The results show that the X Tower, Y Tower, and Z Tower buildings meet the requirements in accordance with PERMEN-PU No. 26 / PRT / M / 2008 whose KSKB (Reliability of Building Safety System) is more than 75% and in condition B "GOOD". Although all buildings meet the requirements according to PERMEN-PU N0. 26 / PRT / M / 2008, steps must also be taken to improve the conditions of fire safety systems in high-rise office buildings.
