Abstract :
The Palembang - Betung Road Section 12 to 17 of the Banyuasin Regency
is included in the primary road network east of Sumatra that connects Palembang City and Jambi City. This road segment is dominated by large inter-provincial shipping expedition vehicles that connect major cities on the island of Sumatra, especially cities traversed by the Sumatran East Sumatra network. But along with the
increasing number of vehicles that are dominated by expedition vehicles and the growing development of settlements around the eastern crossroads of Sumatra, there are many transportation problems, one of which is the problem of congestion. Therefore it is necessary to hold an analysis of the performance of existing road
sections as well as in the future in order to plan the solutions needed to improve the performance of the Palembang - Betung road.
