Abstract :
The library STIKOM Surabaya on duty in the library service is supported by the Information Technology (IT) such as Library Information System (LIS). But there are problems, namely mismatch alignment between LIS performance and business objectives, and assessment of IT performance is only done if there are complaints about the work of the unit's IT services. To overcome the problems that exist, the audit should be performed LIS. Audit refers to the LIS standard Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) 4.0. COBIT is used as the standard has a quite good compromise in a broad range of management and detail process and COBIT is the most complete guide of best practices for IT management. Using rational unified process inception phase, because it is a beginning phase to mapping organization?s vision dan use it as base in the next process. The findings of this research, namely: (i) The LIS has conducted almost all activities and have a level of IT maturity means 1.5 TI LIS management is approaching Repeatable but intuitive. This shows that the activities in the process has been applied, but the procedure has not been made and documented in writing. (ii) Analysis of control objective inception phase show that the PO2, PO8 and DS1 have a high level of interest, the value associated with the maturity level PO2 and DS1 under the standard Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA) so that the processes associated with the sub domain should be, managed and continually monitored.
