Abstract :
This research was conducted to test the effects of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR),
Non-Performing Fund (NPF), operating expenses/operating income (BOPO), Fund to
Deposit Ratio (FDR), Minimum Mandatory Checking (GWM), BI rate, exchange rate to
earning changes.
The sample used as many as 3 company Islamic bank in Indonesia. Data analysis
techniques used are multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing using the t-statistic
for testing the regression coefficients are partial as well as F-statistic to test the effect of
simultaneously with the 5% level of significance. It also carried out testing of
assumptions which include classic normality test, heteroskedasticity test, and
autokorelation.
The results of this research show that variable CAR has a positive influence but
no significant to earning changes. Variable GWM, BI rate and BOPO variable has
negative influences and no significant to earning changes. While variable FDR have a
positive influence and significantly to variable earning changes. Also variable NPF and
exchange rate has a negative influence and significant to earning changes. Capability
predictions of the seven variables such against changes in the variables earning changes
amounting to 83.6 %, this research the remaining 16.4 % influenced by another factor
that is not incorporated into a model research.
Keywords : Earning Changes, CAR, NPF, BOPO, FDR, GWM, BI rate and exchange
rate.
