Abstract :
This study focuses on the role of internal audit to improve efficiency and
effectiveness of marketing at PT Bagoes Bersaudara. It attemps to achieve two
main goals: (1) know the role of internal auditors PT Bagoes Bersaudara in
improving the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing through the preparation
of audit programs as well as constraints. (2) determine the role of internal
auditors PT Bagoes Bersaudara in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of
marketing through the implementation of the audit as well as constrain.
Data were collected by observation, interview to internal controller, internal
auditor, and marketing division in PT Bagoes Bersaudara. Research analysis
were done by descriptive analysis with field study and literature study.
The result showed that PT Bagoes Bersaudara have a good internal audit and an
active role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing both in
assessing the performance of services that can promote the implementation of the
marketing company`s image in the public eye.
