Abstract :
Human resources in the company has a very important role. Business nowadays are
forced to create high employee?s performance to boost company development. A company
has to create and increase its performance to maintain its existence.in its effort to increase
employee?s performance, company implements many ways such as giving a proper
compensation and motivation. Purpose of the company among other compensation to reward
employee achievments, receive justice among employees, retain employees, and
compensation system to motivate employee.
The research was held in PT. XYZ. The research use compensation financial and
compesation non-financial as Independent Variable, and Motivation as Dependent variable.
Population use in this research are 43 employees in the marketing division of PT. XYZ.
Analysis used in this research are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, model
test, regression, partial test and simultaneous test.
The result of data analyzed by multiple regression test shows that ? = 7,526 + 0,510
(X1) + 0,549 (X2), financial compensation variable (X1), t has calculate 3,498, non-financial
(X2), t calculate 3,280. By using level significance alpha (5%) hence all variables in the
research statistically is significant. Coefficient of determination (R) 0,626, it is supported by
the value of the R-square has calculated 0,391, which means that independent variable can
explain about dependent variables equal to 39,1%. F statistic test shows 60,9% it means that
independent variable influance to employees job motivation of PT. XYZ. According to the
research by multiple regression test, can be concluded that variables of financial
compensation and non-financial compensation affect both individually and simultaneously.
