Abstract :
This study examines intellectual capital, women who held position in the board of directors and firm performance in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. This study uses data from 58 banking companies that listed on three stock exchanges in each country. This research method is using Value Added Intellectual Coefficient model (VAIC) and women proportion in board of directors on firm performance. Intellectual capital, and women who held position in the board of directors in general have brought positive influence on the firm performance. The results of this study has given implication for management, investors, and the government that intellectual capital, and the presence of women who held position in the board of directors became one of the considerations in improving company performance.
