Abstract :
This study aims to determine and empirically examine the effect of sales growth, earnings per share and the covid-19 pandemic on the stock prices of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016-2020 period. The sample selection method used in this study was purposive sampling. This research was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. This study uses 2 regression equations, namely, (1) Regression research equation 1 to determine the effect of sales growth and earnings per share on stock prices in the 2016-2020 period, and (2) Regression research equation 2 to determine the effect of sales growth, earnings per share. share and the covid-19 pandemic on stock prices in the 2019-2020 period. The results of regression research 1 show that sales growth has no effect on stock prices, while earnings per share has a significant positive effect on stock prices. The results of regression research 2 show that sales growth has a significant positive effect on stock prices, earnings per share has a significant negative effect on stock prices and the covid-19 pandemic has an effect on stock prices.
