Abstract :
Bank is a very important part in the economy, one of whose duties as an intermediary institution to collect and distribute funds from the community back in the form of credit.. The purpose of this study wasto obtain empirical evidence about the influence capital structure,profitability, and sizeaffect the firm?s valuein banking companies listedon Indonesia Stock Exchange. With purposive sampling method, the populations of this research are 19banking companies listedfrom 2006until 2008.From the analysis showed that during the observation period of the study indicate that the data arenormally distributed. Based on the test for normality, multicollinearity test, test of heteroscedasticity,and autocorrelation test found no variables that deviate from the classical assumptions. This shows the available data hasbeen qualified using multiple linear regression equation model.Based on the results of testing performed with t-test, variables capital adequacy ratio, return on assetand size are influentingsignificantly tobanking?sfirm valu,. Whereas on the basis of simultaneous test (test F) capital structure,profitabilityand sizehave an impact on banking?s firm value. The magnitude (R2) on 19 bankingcompaniesis 0.570057. This shows thereareinfluence of the independent variable i.e. capital structure,profitability, and sizeof the dependent variable banking?s firm valuethat can be explained by the model equation is equal to 57,0057% and 42,9943% of the rest are influenced by other factors outside the research.
