Abstract :
This research is aimed to study empirically the effect of motivation and work stress to employee performance. As for the object of the present study were employee of PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry(Persero). There are two independent variables and one dependent variable. The independent variables are motivation and work stress. The dependent variable is employee performance. The samples are obtained by using simple random sampling method, 100 employee are used as the sample of this study. This statistics method used is multiple regression with initial test used is a test of normality, multiple regression analysis and classical assumption test. The results of this research shows that motivation has no significant effect to employee performance. Work stress has significant effect to employee performance.
