Abstract :
This art thesis presents the results of the analysis of alih laras and rebaban
gendhing Sidamulya, kalajengaken ladrang Gendir laras sléndro pathet nem.
Previously alih laras was usually done on the laras sléndro to the laras pélog .
But here I will try alih laras from laras pélog to laras sléndro. The two problems
presented are, (1) why gending can be replaced from laras pélog pathet nem to the
slendro pathet nem?, (2) how garap rebab this gending after being replaced the pathet?
These two problems are analize based on the rules of the concept of rebaban and
the concept of pathet. The research data is collected through literature studies,
observations, and interviews with a number of musical artists.
The results showed that Sidamulya could be alih laras to the sléndro pathet
nem and in the process of alih laras did not encounter a crucial problem. Garap
gendhing Sidamulya in kosèk alus make it become calm and luruh so that it
demands simple céngkok and wiledan rebabs.
