Abstract :
ABSTRAC The description of the artwork, describes the musical composition of the "Train". The work takes the phenomenon of personal experience of travel using mass railroad transportation. The crossing of the train through various regions and landscapes that are monitored, from various kinds of regions passed and in the train there are several impressions of the atmosphere so that it is used as inspiration to compose musical composition works. From some of the impressions felt by the train namely the sound of the friction of the iron wheel of the train with the railroad tracks, then the atmosphere in the railroad car and at the time of the trip was taken to be used as a musical composition, color, rhythm, melody and harmony. The musical composition "Kereta Api" is composed of several memorable, uncomfortable, tense, beautiful phenomena. Garapan uses the development of traditions in the form of simbery sound (klintingan), plastic bags, flutes, triangles, klintingan. Keywords: color sound, rhythm, melody and harmony
