Abstract :
ABSTRACT Siti Kedu is a new interpretation of the Makukuhan play in the Kedu Temanggungan style pakeliran. The new interpretation in question is an interpretation of the possibility of working on the play, working on the accompaniment, and working on a piece that fits the needs of today's puppet shows. The main ideas contained in this play are the values of heroism and social community that are visible in the efforts made by Jaka Amikukuh in building Kedu and leading the Kedu community in general. The method used in cultivating this play is through three stages starting from observation, orientation and exploration. The format used is a ?pakeliran ringkas? format with a ?pakeliran padat? concept approach. In summary, the definition is a time limit for staging that is no more than 3 hours. The result of this cultivation is the discovery of a new interpretation of the cultivation of the play, namely the sanggit babat Kembang Madu by Jaka Amikukuh, the sanggit of the support of Sandhang Garba against the Tikus Jinada and the sanggit of Tikus Jinada?s death by Jaka Amikukuh.
