Abstract :
The artwork?s thesis decribed the composition of the ?Hujan Pasir?. This work is picking up nonmusical phenomena, from natural phenomena it is rain based on the properties and characteristics of the sound of sand rain. Varied qualities and sound are an inspiration for composing works of musical compositions. From the differences in characteristics and sound produced by sand rain becomes an impression on the composition of the music, the color sound, melody, rythym and harmony. The composition of the music from a natural disaster phenomenon so brings to cheerful, sad, scary, and dismay. How to explore the sources of genteng, rainstick, rebana, Bedug, saxophone, trumpet, suling, and instrument gamelan gong and bonang.
