Abstract :
The pedestrian path in the Robert Wolter Mongonsidi road corridor has dense and diverse activities, namely there are offices, schools and pedestrian parks that are included in artificial tourism in Tenggarong District and also a bridge connecting between cities from tenggarong to the surrounding area. This condition causes the high activity of the surrounding community to be congested. The existence of high pedestrian movement in the Robert Wolter Mongonsidi street corridor needs to be provided with pedestrian facilities in order to create a walkable or pedestrian-friendly area. In creating promenade-friendly areas, walkability measurements are used to measure the quality of the pedestrian environment. Thus, the purpose of this study is to determine the direction for the development of pedestrian paths with the concept of walkability in the Robert Wolter Mongonisid road corridor, Tenggarong Pedestrian Park. The analysis method used to achieve the research objectives is first using the walkability index analysis method to find out the walkable value on the pedestrian path, and secondly using the Importance Performance Analysis analysis to determine development priorities based on research variables and then analyzing behavior-based mapping of walkability variables. From the results of the walkability assessment score, an average score of 55 was obtained from the wakability variable with the results of waiting to walk. The results of the analysis of target two, namely the development priority in quadrant I according to user perception, there are 3 variables, namely Green Area, Seats/seating and Cleanliness of pedestrian paths. The results of the behavior mapping analysis that produces sketches based on materials, parameters, records and the results of the analysis of activities formed on the sketches. Then obtained directions based on using a comparison of the results of the analysis obtained development priorities in Green Areas, Seats and Cleanliness of pedestrian paths.
