Abstract :
Senyawa kompleks Co(II) dengan ligan 2(4-nitrofenil)- 4,5-difenil- 1H- imidazol telah berhasil disintesis. Kompleks yang didapatkan berwujud kristal jarum berwarna kuning dengan rumus molekul [Co(2(4-nitrofenil)- 4,5-difenil- 1H- imidazol)3]. Rumus molekul kompleks didukung oleh hasil analisis elemental analyzer (C= 70,305%, H= 4,535% dan N= 11,559%), analisis SSA (Co= 5,53%), dan spektrum FTIR yang menunjukkan adanya puncak khas Co-N dan Co-O pada bilangan gelombang 408,88 cm-1 dan 543 cm-1. Uji toksisitas dengan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) dari kompleks Co(II)- 2(4- nitrofenil)- 4,5-difenil- 1H- imidazol menunjukkan nilai LC50 sebesar 265,79 mg/L yang mengindikasikan bahwa kompleks tersebut tidak toksik. =============================================================================================================== Complex compounds Co(II) with the ligand 2(4- nitrophenyl) -4,5-diphenyl- 1H- imidazole has been successfully synthesized. The complex obtained tangible yellow needle crystals with molecular formula [Co(2(4-nitrophenyl)- 4,5- diphenyl- 1H- imidazole) 3]. Complex molecular formula is supported by the results of the analysis of elemental analyzer (C = 70.305%, H = 4.535% and N = 11.559%), SSA analysis (Co = 5,53%), and the FTIR spectrum showed the typical peaks Co-N and Co-O on 408.88 wave numbers cm-1 and 543 cm-1. Toxicity test method Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) of the complex Co(II)-2 (4-nitrophenyl)- 4,5-diphenyl- 1H- imidazole showed LC50 values of 265.79 mg/L indicating that the compound is not toxic.
