Abstract :
Kulit nanas memiliki kandungan flavonoid dan bromelin yang dapat berpotensi sebagai antibakteri. Tablet effervescent merupakan sediaan tablet yang aoabila dilarutkan didalam air, akan terjadi reaksi kimia antara asam dan basa sehingga menghasilkan gas karbondioksida. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi formula yang memenuhi syarat evaluasi berdasarkan karakteristik sifat fisik tablet effervescent dengan variasi konsentrasi penggunaan PVP sebagai bahan pengikat. Kulit nanas dimaserasi dengan pelarut etanol 96% diformulasikan dalam 3 formula dengan perbedaan konsentrasi bahan pengikat. Pembuatan granul effervescent dibuat menggunakan metode granulasi kering. Dan diuji dengan uji sifat fisik meliputi uji waktu alir granul, uji sudut diam granul, uji organoleptis, uji keseragaman bobot, uji keseragaman ukuran, uji kekerasan tablet, uji keregasan tablet dan uji waktu larut tablet effervescent. Hasil Penelitian pada pembuatan ekstrak mendapatkan 76,26 gram ekstrak kental dengan persentase rendemen ektrak 15,25%. Dan hasil Penelitian menunjukkan evaluasi sifat fisik tablet effervescent ekstrak etanol kulit nanas hanya memenuhi persyaratan uji organoleptis, uji kekerasan tablet dan uji waktu larut tabet effervescent yaitu pada formula 3 dengan konsentrasi 5% akan tetapi belum memenuhi persyaratan waktu alir, sudut diam, keseragaman bobot, keseragaman ukuran, dan uji keregasan tablet effervescent. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ialah terdapat perbedaan terhada pengaruh konsentrasi PVP sebagai bahan pengikat terhadap sifat fisik tablet effervescent dan belum memenuhi standart fisik tablet effervescent ABSTRACT Pineapple skin contains flavonoids and bromelain which have potential as antibacterial. Effervescent tablets are tablet preparations which when dissolved in water, a chemical reaction will occur between acid and base to produce carbon dioxide gas. The purpose of this study was to identify formulas that meet the evaluation requirements based on the physical characteristics of effervescent tablets with varying concentrations of PVP as a binder. Pineapple peel macerated with 96% ethanol solvent was formulated in 3 formulas with different concentrations of binder. Effervescent granules were made using dry granulation method. And tested by physical properties test including granule flow time test, granule angle of repose test, organoleptic test, weight uniformity test, size uniformity test, tablet hardness test, tablet rigidity test and effervescent tablet dissolving time test. The results of the research on the manufacture of extracts obtained 76.26 grams of thick extract with a percentage yield of 15.25% extract. And the results showed that the evaluation of the physical properties of the effervescent tablet of pineapple peel ethanol extract only met the requirements of the organoleptic test, tablet hardness test and effervescent tablet dissolving time test, namely in formula 3 with a concentration of 5% but did not meet the requirements of flow time, angle of repose, weight uniformity, size uniformity, and effervescent tablet stiffness test. The conclusion of this study is that there is a difference in the effect of PVP concentration as a binder on the physical properties of effervescent tablets and it does not meet the physical standards of effervescent tablets.
