Abstract :
The library is a place where students can search, process or store data, which has now developed in digital form, or what is known as a digital library. The number of visitors who come to the library, monitoring data on library visits is one of the important factors in library security. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology has been widely developed and utilized, especially in the library sector. RFID can be used in library automation in the processing of book identification data, book circulation data, and book collection management. The purpose of this study is to implement a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) device to enter and leave visitors in the library. This research was conducted using research methods that include needs analysis, design and implementation and testing. This system uses RFID Reader as input, NodeMCU as microcontroller and visitor data web application as application interface. From the results of the study successfully implemented a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) device to enter and leave visitors in the library. The results of testing the library visitor data system for the maximum distance between the RFID tag and the RFID reader is 4 cm. Keywords: Library, RFID, Visitors.
