Abstract :
In 2021, all operators in Indonesia have integrated by 4G services. However, there are some areas that not covered properly (bad coverage). This area has Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) in the bad category, which in range -140 to -120 dBm. To solve this, it is necessary to expand coverage to these areas. Near bad coverage areas are placed fronthaul site that linked to the existing site as a control center. This link called as fronthaul, which is linked via a microwave radio. After placing the fronthaul site, initial average Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) was -97.7 dBm and increased 4,71% to -93.09 dBm. Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio (SINR) value initially 4.12 dB increased 25% to 5.15 dB. On the fronthaul microwave side, average Receive Signal Level (RSL) when it's not raining is -21.04 dBm, and when it's raining -47.83 dBm, that is below the Rx threshold which is only -40 dBm. Also, average availability when its not raining is 99.9999%, while when its raining it decreases to 99.97928%. Thus, known that the implementation of fronthaul can cover bad coverage areas, but the quality of service decrease during rainy weather due to high frequency usage..
